THE MEMORY OF TIME
“The richness of life
lies in memories we have forgotten.”
THE MEMORY OF TIME investigates the richness and complexity of photography’s relationship to the construction of history, memory, identity and the perception of time: What is the intricate relationship existing between “objective” history and the subjective selection and the forgetfulness involved by the memory process? How does memory contribute to build an intimate identity? What is the psychological reality of our perception of time? THE MEMORY OF TIME aims to shed light on these questions by inviting the viewer to a visual exploration journey into the past.
